Ferguson Workshop Update

Hi! With a sense of shock I find that the last time I did a blog was December LAST YEAR! Unbelievable how time flies. And not just when you are enjoying yourself...

Unless a buyer for Holland Brand Workshop comes forward this business, loved, nursed and supported for quite a lot of years now, will go off the radar.

I offered the business to Jeff who's spent so much time and effort building the business up, the whole thing- lock stock and barrel but he said no every time. Not sure why.

So I am left with a workshop full of Ferguson parts, tools, special; Ferguson tools made by Jeff etc. etc.

I'm really, really sad.  Understandably.

What with my house endangered by a crumbling cliff- ironically not on my land but on the (now) Council owned land next door. 'We want to cease to defend the corner' they said via the Pathfinder Liason committee.
'Why?' I asked a group of Council officers. They looked at each other then one of them said.'To make it easier for people to get round the corner!'  ?????  There's never been a log jam of people , yet. Next time I asked the Coastal engineer 'Why do you want to round off the corner?' . 'His reply was, 'Well, if the corner isn't rounded off it would be pointed'  Even more bizarre...  However, there have been rumours of  a Government? master plan to remove all projections from round the coast of the UK to allow the unimpeded flow of sediment.  If this is a secret plan we SHOULD BE TOLD!

Got to get on now with listing 400+ original Ferguson parts ready for selling.
